April Fools' Pranks for Bedrock

It is very annoying to see how much you do things for Minecraft Java but always leave Minecraft Bedrock aside, and one thing I always wanted is April Fool's Day pranks for Bedrock, although Bedrock does not have a snapshot, we have the Marketplace, which it's a perfect place to bring a map of April Fools annually (Free)

    I believe its not as simple as "Mojang only cares about Java" as some commentors seem to imply. IANA Mojang employee nor am I personally well versed in their team structure, but its highly likely the programmers and team that work on the JE April Fools snapshots are not the developers for BE, as both versions run on very different codebases. It would not only increase the workload of them, but if both April Fools are the same, it should also be considered that adding April Fools snapshots to BE would significantly affect the workload and make other actual features take longer to implement

    It would defeat one of the major purposes of them: they are basically tech demos/places where Mojang experiments with ideas or certain concepts. If Mojang developers are bound by technical limitations of BE it would make it much harder to focus on and test experimental ideas, which would also hinder motivation to work on what was previously a fun place to vent some of their creativity and play around with ideas.

    There is also the issue that is my own personal "headcanon", but I personally view BE as "Microsoft's Minecraft", won't get into why, but I could see Microsoft not wanting employees of the new Minecraft version wasting time on April Fools gags, while Java can get away with it as it is a long-standing tradition

     

    But the idea of an April Fools for Bedrock edition isn't bad, it'd likely have to be on a smaller scale though. But in the end, I suspect its up to the Microsoft overlords.

    yes! i only play on bedrock, and tis would be pretty funny. although they might have to change the menu so you can choose which snapshot to play in.

    Why is this not a thing? They should do a unique April Fools update each year for Bedrock and you could replay any April Fools update at anytime by turning it on in the settings. :)

    I was so excited all year for the april fools update, only to find out it's java exclusive. bedrock players derserve this too!
