Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Placing sunflowers in different directions

It is currently very difficult to use sunflowers as decorative blocks since they are limited to facing in one direction. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers not only in real life but also in Minecraft, however this limitation has made me rarely ever want to use them in any decoration. I think that the flowers facing towards the east when they are generated with the world is great but I think players should be able to have them face in any direction they want.
