Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add more petrified wood blocks and put them in/near Overworld Fossils

Currently there is only Petrified Oak Slabs, and if you don't know, it's just oak slabs that have stone properties, meaning wood builds that do not burn..

They exist in real life and are caused by wood being fossilized with minerals, creating a stone like wood.

So it'd make sense if overworld fossils had a chance to spawn various petrified wood (depending on the chunk's biome).

Instead of being able to craft the petrified logs into planks, you'd have to use a stone cutter. You would only be able to craft things that you can with stone. Could be used as a stone replacement in tools, or could make petrified wood walls instead of fences.
