Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Golden Shields

Golden Shields would be crafted the same way as normal shields, but with gold instead of iron. They would function exactly like normal shields, but with gold edges instead of the normal iron, and Piglins wouldn't attack you when you hold them.

Piglins could also use them. If a Piglin spawns with a sword, it would also have a chance to spawn with a Golden Shield. Piglin Brutes could also have a chance to hold them too.

It would also make it easier to make shields in the Nether without going to the Overworld.

    Brilliant idea but I think it should have the same durability 

    So you won’t have to compromise for lower durability to calm piglins and piglin brutes
