Weather Radar/Forecasting Craftable Item

I havent seen a post specifically for what I am suggesting except one relating post called "Foreseeable Weather" which doesnt quite touch the topic I'm covering considering everything it mentions. I think it would be amazing to have a Craftable object for forecasting the next days weather. Being able to read weather conditions would allow for some very interesting build ideas! Not to mention it would allow players to gear up for certain adventures or critically, making better use of you loyal channeling trident. Not to mention it would let players build some pretty awesome mob farms.! I believe the clock could be a material in the crafting recipe and the rest would be in your hands

    I like this idea, I think that the weather aspect of the game is a little over looked. There is actually a mod for this, but I think that this should be in base game.

    Totally agree! Was thinking maybe they could utilize the newest Copper Ore to make such a tool. My thought, is a recipe that uses 4 Copper Ingots (or even full blocks since Copper is so common,) and a Watch. You'd get a Copper-lined Watch that still tells time, but with the addition of two sets of numbers that reveal the hidden in-game tick number before a change of weather. One would indicate rain. The other for thunderstorms. Then, when either or both weather occurrences are going, the tick number would change to when one or the other are going to end and change back to clear skies.
