Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sapphire replaces Lapis

There are certain gems that go well together. emerald, ruby, and sapphire are the ones I am talking about. right now, instead of sapphire we have lapis lazuli. If we had sapphire instead of lapis, then we could also have ruby instead of redstone. (maybe). Emerald would be currency, sapphire would be magic, and ruby would be electric. Having that gem trinity would be perfect, and would fit much better than some other random ores.

    No. Ores like Redstone and Lapis are more original than stuff like Sapphire than Ruby.
