Netherite instant-mines Deepslate

With the inability to instant-mine deepslate in the snapshots, digging out large areas for bases looks off the table without infinite tnt machines. Although, a good solution would be to buff netherite pickaxes just enough to where they would be able to instant-mine deepslate while diamond cannot.

It would be a natural progression from the ability to instant-mine one set of stone to being able to instant-mine another. Keep it so that diamonds can still only instant-mine regular stone so that there is more incentive to upgrade, this ability of the netherite pickaxe would not only make netherite more useful, but would disincentivize the use of infinite tnt glitches if there is another way to get rid of deepslate without the use of glitches.

(Instant mining deepslate would still require efficiency 5 and haste 2)

I do hope you consider adding this feature, I think it would really help the community.

    yeah i think this idea is great but i also think people are too hung up on the idea the netherite can't be better than diamond except durability, and diamond has to be the best tier in terms of capabilities

    The addition of deepslate has affected the game negatively for me because diamonds are exceedingly sparse, and deepslate is slow to mine.

    This is very much needed, since gathering large amounts of deepslate is painful, and it would be a good way to further differentiate diamond from netherite gear.

    yes, either that or introduce some endgame way to activate haste III for beacons.

    This the idea i was just about to add so have voted for this. This would be good as you have to work upto enchments nethrite and a beacon.
