One of the items Piglins can give you when bartering is iron nuggets, even though it's impossible to get iron in the nether usually (and we already know Piglins can't go to the overworked...), so how did they get them?
There should be Nether Iron Ore that spawns uncommonly in Blackstone underground. When mined, they drop iron nuggets like how Nether Gold Ore drops nuggets. Smelting them would give you an ingot instead, and it wouldn't anger the Piglins when mined. That way it makes sense how Piglins can give you iron nuggets and how they have lanterns in Bastion Remnants.
