Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Produced by mining trees with Hammer? (My personal preference, I like the Hammer ideas.)

Can be "processed" with sugar cane into paper. 

Can be "processed" with bone meal into fertilizer+.

The block itself reduces fall damage. (Increase fall damage minimum from 4 block fall to 6?)(Hence, you could fall five blocks onto Wood Pulp/Mulch block without taking damage.)

Can be placed as a block next to irrigated farm blocks to increase crop growth? Perhaps replace the dirt blocks for a better farm block?
