Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Shroomlight and heat

Placing light blocks every 5 blocks to prevent mobs spawning means in tundra conditions most snow melts.  Fungal and bacterial light sources in the real world are usually cold.  If shroom light melted, at most, The block above it would enable safe winter wonderlands for tundra villages.  If they do not melt the snow above could enough light stll escape to prevent hostile mob formation?
