Dirt + Hanging Roots = Rooted Dirt

It will be so hard to get rooted dirt if you can only find them in azelea trees, kinda like the mossy cobblestone before they generated in mega taigas and got a crafting recipe. Giving it a renewable crafting recipe would be good for survival builders like me.

  Yes, but I still feel like rooted dirt should be easier to get. I think there was a player who suggested that rooted dirt should generate under all trees, that seems really balanced and a cool feature. Vote for that.
