New Material: Lazulite

I think the caves and cliffs update should have a new material to make swords and armor from. I think it should be lazulite. Lazulite is a gemstone in real life and it should be a Minecraft gem. Lazulite ore should be just a little more rare than diamonds but only generates right above bedrock.  Maybe y level 3? Lazulite tools and armor would be better than diamond and nephrite but have a lower durability and be harder to enchant. I hope this idea makes it to Minecraft someday.
