Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Copper Magnet

This would be a unique item crafted with copper, if held in your hand it would very slowly pull you towards a random metallic block within 15 blocks. Metallic blocks include iron, gold, and copper ores and blocks.

Would also be a way to upgrade the ranges on the hoppers without mods, and upgrading hoppers is a pretty common mod theme, which probably means it's a popular idea.
