Chalk cliffs and the useful blocks.

This biome would contain tall chalky cliffs like those in Dover. The naturally generated chalk on the cliffs would be able to have grass grow on the topmost blocks (if the top is exposed to air and grass block is next to it) and when mined can be put in a crafting table and dyed. The dyed chalk would be pastel colours such as pale pink, pale green, pale blue, etc. Finally loose chalk can also be found here too, loose chalk falls like sand but causes a knock back impact when it reaches the ground/water dealing 3 hearts of damage, a perfect trap.

    More colorful building material is fun :D maybe the loose chalk can be used to make an item that can draw on any surface like IRL chalk.

    somebody else made this cool post (that I cant find bc this site has terrible search functions >.<) for an item like this and chalk would be perfect for something like that. a multi-purpose material

    This seems amazing, I actually live on a cliff and they're absolutely wonderful to go on a short walk to. Maybe there could also be a new flower variety that is especially hardy in real life, a flower I suggest for this would be armeria maritama which I often see on walks. I also see rabbits quite often on my cliff so maybe the spawnrate could be buffed in cliff biomes? Great idea.
