Adhesive

I am proposing a new item called adhesive or just a new use for the honeycombs or bottles of honey that already exist in the game. The functionality of this would provide piggybacks off of an idea I saw on a Mumbo Jumbo video where the chains can push and pull anything on the other end of the links of chains but nothing to either side of it. The adhesive would be applied to the chains to give them this functionality. Furthermore, I would like to see that bark could be almost "glued" back on with this adhesive so stripped logs could become normal logs again as if you were wood gluing the bark back onto it. I think that this idea could be expanded even further for a sort of slime block alternative where you can apply this adhesive to a side of a block and anything stuck to it would get pulled back as long as the bock it was touching had adhesive pre-applied to it before the two blocks came into contact. Or maybe even you could stick items up onto walls or shelves using adhesive for some cool item displays for like your first diamond sword or something like that. I feel like this could be a well-rounded item or functionality that would have a place in multiple areas of Minecraft from building to redstone.
