Lush Cave Giant Roots

I was thinking of generating large root structures when lush caves spawn in a cave with a large volume. The roots could extend from ceiling to floor or from the walls, basically any which way, kinda like real roots. These roots would serve the purpose of filling up the large empty spaces when the cave is very big, and would add to that sense of "adventure" talked about in MineCon Live. These roots could be made of wood or some new material and could serve to solidify the "lush cave" aesthetic even more with the addition of giant flora underground. :)

  I Think This is a great idea which could serve as some new decorative blocks for not only caves but perhaps even Builds of the players choice for example, if you wanted to build a garden? You might want to harvest roots. What if you could only successfully grab them with a silk touch pick but if you break then with anything else you get a, block of dead root? This is just an idea and likely won’t be added but I’m sort of taking inspiration from the coral blocks.

  Estas podrían tener una textura similar al tallo de hongo pero más oscura y podrían tener bloques de hongo marrón y hongos marrones, por lo que en estas podría crecer hongos marrones, creo que esto haría mas interesante a las raíces, también podría haber la probabilidad que al destruir el bloque con el hacha suelte: 65% bloque de raíz, 15% hongo marrón (en referencia a que la raíz estaba podrida) y 20% semilla o brote de raíz (que se podría plantar en tierra y tierra basta y hacerla crecer con polvo de hueso).

  Me encanta esta idea.

  The idea of having a wood source underground seems pretty neat. Sure, we have mineshafts, but those are rather rare.

  Unrelated, but they need to add more hanging roots to the lush caves. It would really break up the one shade of green in the entire cave.
