Combine an item frame with a shulker box in your inventory. When you place the shulker box in the world it will now have an item frame on top of it. Place an item in the frame and it locks to the shulker box. When you break the shulker box and it is in your inventory you see the item in the frame superimposed over the shulker box, making it easier to tell them apart quickly. Basically it's just a fancy way to add a label to shulker boxes. You can still color code them, and you can still name them, but this should make it so you don't have to mouse over to see their names. If you want to keep parity with the cost of naming a shulker box you could add a nametag to the recipe, or make it so you combine the item frame and the shulker box in your inventory but permanently lock an item into the frame in the anvil at the cost of one level.
I thought about adding this to the interface topic group since it could help with accessibility, but decided to put it in blocks since it also appears on top of the shulker box when it's placed in the world.
