Catwalks

I’m making an industrial build and I realized Minecraft has a niche that, IMO, needs filled. I really want to build catwalks, and the closest thing I can think of is the iron trapdoor, but it’s awkward to place and very expensive in survival, and doesn’t look that great I feel. I think there needs to be a more transparent block so you see through better, but still metal. Something like a block or trapdoor with the monster spawner texture would work, not just for catwalks but any metal grating, like a vent or drain, which incidentally I would also really appreciate for industrial builds. If this idea makes it in, I’d love it if I could also smelt down all those trapdoors I’d be replacing back into ingots lol

    Decent Idea. Copper could be used to make it.

    Yes. Expanded steel, chicken wire, chain link fence... I see some great possibilities.
