Looting on bows

I feel like crossbows have a advantage in competitive PVP because of its charge capabilities, you can have it charged and not have to wait for it to load, and also because of its various enchants such as piercing, which can go through shields, and I want to be able to put looting on bows since i feel like its getting less and less appreciated every update.
