New ore to improve mining : Ruby?

A new ore that could be an alternative or an upgrade for netherite.

idea 1: Ruby. Maybe an ore that reinforces gold tools to instantly mine the deepslate stone (obviously with haste)  Better than iron but worse than diamond.

idea 2: Ruby could be a new mineral that could upgrade Netherite tools to make them faster (instantly mine all respective blocks of each tool with haste)

in my opinion, netherite is good, i like it, but can be better.

  I would prefer it as an alternative to netherite (which is desperately needed)  ruby-studded gold is the most enchantable material. (more enchantable than gold) It is as good as iron.
