quarts in overworld

I really hate traversing the nether for nether quarts and I wish there was a way to get it easier without getting pummeled by ghasts, piglins, burnt alive, and other dangerous things of the nether. maybe it would be a good idea to create a natural type of quarts in the overworld. It did come from the overworld realistically and gold is in the overworld and the nether. why not quarts? it would possibly make it easier to get these beautiful building blocks for my builds.     quartz ore could spawn only in granite, diorite, & andesite, and only be mineable with silk-touch (to preserve the difficulty of getting quartz)
