I want to keep campfires around the courtyard of my mansion for aesthetic purposes, however, my Iron golem hurts itself as it wanders around the courtyard which it protects because it mindlessly wanders onto my campfires. I want to leave campfires under my bee hives so I can regularly harvest honey quickly and easily but my bees regularly kill themselves because they mindlessly fly into my campfires and they'll even just sit still in the fire as though they want to die. This results in me needing to routinely go hunting further and further from my base for flowers (resulting in fewer and fewer chunks that will have the new caves&cliffs update in the vicinity of my base) to use to breed more bees. Mojang, please improve the path finding so friendly AI includes some way for them to detect things that will damage them like fire and lava and to avoid them when detected. Iron golems and bees are too costly to lose to their own poor pathfinding.
