Aloe Vera

I had an idea for a new item "Aloe vera", or just simply "aloe", which would be a new plant that spawns in lush caves, and sometimes in deserts. It would grant you 10 seconds of fire resistance when consumed, and put out the fire that is currently on you. To prevent being overpowered and a replacement for fire resistance, it is not plantable, so you can not farm it. It could also be brewed into 3 minute fire resistance potions when combined with slowness potions. Any of this can be modified to how you would like it, if there are certain things you like or do not.

  This is cool, but I have a different idea on balancing the aloe vera. You shouldn't just find things that can give you fire resistance, even for a little bit, because we don't want to substitute fire resist potions, & people might want to build with the vera so they should be farmable, but won't give fire resistance. They would still put out the fire on you. And they should be in the Nether instead. It fits better.
