The fletching table has gone without use for quite some time now. With enough votes on this post, they won’t be for long. I have an idea that will change the way we use arrows forever. Imagine if we could customize arrows piece by piece? Imagine if we could make an arrow with a shaft of bone and a tip of quartz. Imagine if we could make copper arrows that attract lightning bolts during thunderstorms? Imagine if we could make harpoon arrows. All of that can be possible with the new and (incredibly) improved crafting table.
There are three customizable parts of the arrow. There is the ‘feather’, the ‘stick’, and the ‘flint’. All of these parts are interchangeable, meaning we could swap out the stick with a blaze rod. Each piece has it’s own properties. A blaze rod is heavier than a stick, so it would hit harder but fly less farther. After placing all of your parts, you receive three of your arrows. The second part of the fletching table allows you to upgrade your arrows, allowing you to craft copper and amethyst arrows. It will function like the anvil: Arrow + Material = Sidegraded Arrow - The amethyst arrow would split in the air, the more air time the more splits, and fracture into many pieces for an AOE attack. You do not get the arrow back if it splits, instead it fractures. I will be editing this post soon for more detail. Please vote if you think that I am going somewhere with this.
