Powder Snow Cracks

Just like how regular Cracks can generate, which are thin and go down very far, I think it would be a good idea to add cracks that have powder snow obstructing them, so a player who isn't careful could step into one, sink into the powder snow and then fall into the crack, much like what happens to snow hikers in real life. It would be a similar idea to hidden ravines, which are obscured by floating sand. I think it could add a bit of challenge to the snowy peaks and give powder snow a reason to be thought about during expeditions, as well as encourage wearing leather boots to avoid falling. Furthermore, there could even be more powder snow in the crack, like a snowy crack, making it possible to survive and give players more stories to tell.
