Clay Next to Lava Should Convert to Terracotta

When clay is placed down next to a lava source block or flowing lava, it should convert to clay. Likewise, when clay would spawn next to lava during world gen (such as in lush caves), the clay blocks nearest the lava should be replaced with terracotta. This would give an additional way of crafting terracotta that doesn't involve interactions with a GUI, similar to how concrete is crafted in the world.

  I agree! It would be a great way of finding naturally generated terracotta, and by the way it will look way more natural and realistic than lava sitting just next to fresh clay! I feel like moss generating next to lava should be converted to dirt also, i really like the atmosphere than a lava lake can bring to a lush cave, it just need a smooth transition!
