Banners on shields for bedrock edition

So everybody know how java lets you put banners on shields right? Yeah so it would be cool Mojang if you let us put custom banners on shields

    It's been years now, I don't think it'll ever happen. Not everyone can get a PC that runs minecraft, y you gotta do this to us?

    ¡Por favor Monjang, no se olviden de los banners para escudos! en java si los tienen, pero en Bedrock no tenemos los banners para escudos y tampoco las flechas brillantes! se los agradeceríamos mucho.

    Still waiting for this myself and would love to see it come to Bedrock. Theres a few features I'm surprised still haven't been brought over from features like Hardcore that they are supposedly finally working on. Can't believe something simpler like this still isn't a thing though. Please Mojang, we need this. It's been too long.

    I'd rather have the same stuff as java than random mobs nobody asked for. This is one of those Java things I really want. We used to have this ability back when the console editions were separate but now it feels lile a downgrade. We also used to be able to equip armor stands with 2 items in hand (like a sword and shield) and now we can't. I miss the functionality

    Yea, I really can't believe only 929 votes when i wrote this.
    I have been waiting since 1.14/1.12-ish for this.

    How have they not though about this yet? We NEED this feature.
    I am disappointed with every update that gets released because of this. I have waited for years.

    The devs don’t care what we want. Java is literally still going strong but Java may be coming to an end for its open-style of modding unlike micro transactions in bedrock. All we can do is hope and even that isn’t gonna matter to the devs. Notch did a better job at listening to us players in my opinion.
