We already have a difficulty level in the game but only for chunks I think but I have a different Idea, why not make it, so the longer you are in a world lets say for example you've just started playing it's a brand new world and it's getting night, there, the monsters that naturally spawn (Zombies, Skeletons, spiders etc) should be just that, normal zombies etc, but the longer you are in the world the harder the mobs get, for example a zombie in a minecraft world that is 8 days old is able to spawn with Leather armor and a wooden or a stone sword, if your minecraft world is maybe lets say 200 days old they can spawn with iron/diamond armor (wich cannot be dropped, would be too op or maybe just give them more health instead) and maybe spiders spawn with a potion effect more frequently. Of course this would be affected by the difficulty set in the game. lets say if you play on easy there wouldn't spawn a single mob with said buffs or on really rare occasions, on normal it would just take longer instead of mobs being able to spawn with leather armor on day 8 they'd spawn with that on day 20 and so on. On hard mode they should spawn how I described it at the beginning of the comment. I think it would be a good Idea because Minecrafts normal mobs like zombies etc, lack in giving long time minecraft players a challenge and if they had more health and if they were a bit stronger even faster maybe, they would be more of a threat for players who know the game like their own pockets.
