Because the higher mountain peaks would be above the cloudline, ppl will wonder how snowfall would work.
In real life, winds blowing up mountain slopes allow moisture from (low) clouds to reach the higher peaks. To mimic this, snowfall particles should not be "gentle" like in lowland snow biomes, but instead be "blowing around" to show that the snow isn't "falling from above", but instead arriving thu strong winds.
Adding to the ambience, mountain biomes (or at least, the taller ones) could have wind sound effects (maybe just during snowstorms, to reduce distractions).
