Sassafras is a large bush. It will only grow when also in a forest (probably any forest) and is uncommon. When dug up it gives you 4 sassafras root and 1-2 sassafras logs (the bush would be very large, having 1-2 logs making up it.) The logs could be rootbeer coloured for an interesting easter egg. In a cauldron, putting together water, 2 sassafras roots and 3 sugar or one honey will produce Rootbeer. Root Beer gives you brief regeneration and speed. It also fills you up as much as honey, but can be drinken while not hungry for the effects. Sassafras can also be used without sugar in a cauldron (1 water and 2 sassafras root) to make Sassafras Tea, a tea that gives brief regeneration. The effects of the tea are shorter than of the rootbeer. This fills up just 1 hunger. (1 full bar not 1 half bar.) To farm Sassafras, just plant it anywhere and it grows like any other tree in minecraft. In the sun they are larger, the size of a small oak tree, but in the shade they will just be one or two blocks high- similar to the tiny jungle trees seen on the bottom of the jungle. Leaves are the same as birch leaves but slightly yellower. Even if not readily used as a food source it will add ambience to the forests with dark coloured, small trees with yellowish leaves. They usually occur in clusters of 3 or 4.
