Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

This update will completely change how paintings work in Minecraft. When players attempt to craft a painting it will craft a canvas instead. This canvas can be put on an easel where players can edit the size of the painting and use dye to change each individual pixel with a brush. The original paintings can only be found in chests, with some new paintings included as well. Paintings will also be able to be placed on the floor and the ceiling similar to an item frame.

Good idea. Also, I think it would be cool if the brush used is the same one used for suspicious sand and gravel. I've always liked when they use the same item for multiple things.

I adore this idea. To add my two cents, perhaps cauldrons and dyes could be used for “cave drawings,” allowing players to mark up blocks. The brush introduced in the Trails and Tales update could also boast a secondary use due to this feature being implemented. My idea is a little rough around the edges, but “cave markings” (like what Rust does with signs) would be very cool.
