Water in the Nether

I am NOT saying I want water in the Nether.

 

I'm saying you are able to bring water into it. With a cauldron. It will not go away.

    I believe the answer you'd get from Mojang here is "works as intended."

    How about the idea to let players sometimes succeed to place water in the nether, but the water source block often disappears, within some seconds.
