While many have been saying using a netherite pickaxe and haste 2 should insta-mine deepslate, I feel that makes it a little too easy, so instead, here's a compromise:
- Netherite beacon should be different than the rest, such that if you have the second or third tier of a full netherite beacon, it allows you to have haste 3, having this effect with your netherite pickaxe should then allow you to insta-mine deepslate.
This allows players to insta-mine deepslate eventually, so that in the late game they can clear lots of area below y=0 for their projects. This also makes this ability a very late-game achievement, while not making it so hard as to be almost impossible.
