Certain Mobs not spawning option

I honestly think there should be the option of what mobs spawn in a Minecraft world because I don't want to turn the world to peaceful mode where no mobs spawn at all and if you want to test like a mob farm and don't want the building to get destroyed by a creeper you can test it with only certain mobs able spawn (ex. Zombies or Skeletons) I would really like this feature as an option upon creating a new world and it would make the game better in many ways.

    I've always wanted this feature, but I have REALLY wanted this feature ever since a creeper blew up in my villager room and killed everyone.
