Make Armor Transparent by Upgrading with Amethyst

The fact that armor completely obscures your skin has always been a concern for me and my friends - it's weird that this fundamental way of expressing and identifying yourself is cluttered up by armor textures.

To solve for this, a way to spend a special resource, like the new amethyst shards, to make your armor at least somewhat transparent would be perfect. Those who are concerned with style, or want to make their armor type harder to discern at a glance, have more incentive to go adventuring in caves.

Amethyst's current use as an ingredient in transparent objects like tinted glass and the spyglass is thematically in line with this new use, as well.
