Copper Wires or Copper Rods

Hi!

I know that there is already a lot of post about copper wires but i'm making this post because i saw this youtube video about an idea for the copper ingots to make copper wires and when i saw this video i thought "yeah, i think this is a pretty good idea for the copper ore" why? because copper for now, doesnt have that much use to it besides as building blocks which is cool and you can craft the lightning rod and the spyglass with copper ingots which is already so cool, if you guys don't want to add more uses to the copper i'll be okay, i'm already happy with the copper ore, but the thing about copper ore is that it's very common, the rarity of copper is basically almost the same as iron and because of that i want a reason to actually grind for it or mine alot of it. So that's why i think copper wires is a good addition to the copper ore because the crafting recipe for the copper wires is 2 copper ingots and also a redstone dust or a honey comb for 1 or 2 copper wires or copper rod and so it means that there is actually a reason to mine a bunch of copper ores.
