Materials that cant craft armor & tools needs the recipes

The gems/ores need some love like emeralds lapis copper redstone quartz needs tools and armor with a couple with different abilites the most suggested one is emerald which in minecraft is stronger than iron which is at 341 duribilty for emerald and does 6.5 attack damage for the emerald sword but everything else is your idea. Redstone is half as strong as stone and what it does is you fill it up with redstone dust and when walking near a redstone source it powers it but a flaw is it slowly depletes, and redstone tools arent necessary. Lapis is .5 durabilty stronger than stone but not as strong as iron and the lapis does is when worn enchantments on the enchantment table and anvil gets a discount depending on the duribilty and amount of armor worn so if its almost broken or 1 armor piece on it gets a 0.2 discount and if its half broken or half set it gets a 1/3 discount and if its Brand new or full set it gets a 1/2 discount also if you enchant something it uses some duribility its the weakest in game at 25 Durability. For copper the newest ore in game it has 225 duribilty and the tools can mine redstone gold and before that but cant mine diamonds obsidian and ancient scraps. Quartz armor is a little stronger than stone at 260 duribility its just any regular armor but cooler looking. all recipes are the same as always and duribilty points are the devs idea

    We literally already have types of armor and weapons that are not even being used. What's the point of making literally every mineral a type of gear? It becomes so redundant and breaks the point of gear entirely. Why would anybody ever make gear from Lapis Lazuli when it is harder to get than iron and the gear has about no durability at all? Copper is also just as rare as Iron, maybe even rarer if you count the amounts of Iron in Mountains, so why bother make gear from it when it is the same or even worse? And who would use Quartz gear when it's basically the same as stone, and most people who reach the Nether already have at least Iron gear? Having gear for every material is plainly illogical, causes a lot of clutter, and takes away from the uniqueness of any individual material.
