In Greek myth satyrs were nature spirits and would go great with the new mountains. They could be like zombie pigmen, like when lighting hitting a pig. Something like this would happen to goats and turn them into satyrs. The satyrs would spawn in little areas like the ruined portal, it would be filled will trees and flowers. Goats would also spawn near these structures. The satyr would be passive unless a player messes with the nature surrounding the area. The satyrs would get mad if a tree is broken, flower picked, or if a mob is killed. The satyrs would group together with a certain weapon and chase you. If this happens then you can stop this by playing a reed pipe. A reedpipe would be made by sugar cane and would make the satyrs passive again. Playing the reed pipe will make them follow you and you can lead them back to your base. As long as your base has something natural around it then the satyr will protect you from hostile mobs like the iron golem. Minecraft always adds thing to make you more aware of the natural world, they added bees, pandas, and dolphins. The satyrs would be there to make sure there are consequences to destroying nature.
