I have noticed a drastic increase in both the value of resources and accessibility in these resources so much so that you can have a full set of diamond armor without even having to mine.
so my proposal is in addition the the standard difficulty options we also have a world difficulty option upon creation of a world
obviously normal world difficulty is the state Minecraft is in now
easy would probably increase the chance of beneficial structures and reduce the amount of dangerous terrain and blocks such as powder snow, magma blocks , and silver fish eggs or small things like that
and the main reason I made this suggestion
hard world generation would likely increase the amount of dangerous terrain and blocks
reduce the loot value of chests generated in structures
increase spider spawner and cob web generation in mineshafts
maybe break up the main end island into smaller scattered pieces to enhance the ender dragons difficulty
lower the amount of netherack and obsidian that spawns with broken portals
drop the flower and mushroom population
possibly enlarge the chances of outposts generating next to villages and the chances of floating sand/gravel pits generating over lava
and further miniscule changes that add up to make the world harder I acknowledge a lot of this can be acquired through the world gen menu but I don't want to shuffle through those every time I wish to have a harder experience and I think this option should work in tandem with the world gen settings.
