It's a cube that's always tangled up with itself, no matter your perspective on it. Given that the GPU can simply receive reverse instructions for certain 2D overlaps of a (computationally) 3D object, it could be anywhere in terms of how hard it would be to code, but if easy to implement, it would be fairly unique in the gaming world. The bigger challenge would be to have multiple Necker cubes interact when placed adjacent to each other! (Maybe too much.) Should be a transparent block for maximum visual effect.
I'm thinking that crafting it from weathered copper blocks might be an interesting approach.
