Rope

Dear Mojang Team, 

you have the best opportunity right now with the upcoming Caves and Cliffs update for implementing some kind of rope system. Ladders are okay for travelling upwards, but especially since you have added 128 more blocks to  the worldheight / -depth I find myself in more and more situations where I take falldamage because I stand on top of a steep drop with no way down other then jumping or mining a billion blocks. 

A rope would be perfect for that. Rightclick a single block to attach it  and than you could ,,throw´´ it down the drop. 
Maybe you could even make a roped arrow so one could shoot an rope up and attach it to a block. 

Please concider the idea of a rope, because so many people would like it.

  Eh, I mean we already have Scaffolding, Water Buckets, and Nether Vines. Though if the idea is for it to be like a kind of grappling hook, then I might really love a rope.

  Rope would be nice,
  weeping vines - vines - twisting vines in a vertical 1x3 recipe.
  And a hook to attach it to.
