Armor Insignias

I believe armor insignias would be a good fit in Minecraft. Because the armor is iconic, insignias would retain the design of armor but show distinction among individuals or groups of people. The insignias can be anything from small color accents to iconic (but very small) images like the Creeper or the Nether Star. It would fit with the upcoming archaeology feature, where you can apply the shards you collect to your armor, or it would be as simple as applying small accents with dye.
