Players don't really have a good method of escaping from large hordes of hostile mobs, especially underground. A method to help with this would be the addition of an item that lures mobs away from the player when thrown (makes hostile mobs prioritize pathfinding towards said item). Said item could be crafted with phantom membranes and glow squid ink sacks, which would make the phantom a mob that players would actively hunt down (no offence to the phantom). This would fit well with the caves and cliffs update, as it would give players another tool for exploration. As for the item itself, it should probably only affect mobs that are directly hostile towards the player i.e. creepers, skeletons, and maybe ghasts. It would not affect mobs like the enderman or zombified piglin, as you have to directly agro them. Naturally, it would not do anything do a blind mob such as the warden. (Accidently deleted the original, so I had to redo it.)
