The Lush Cave biome is probably my favorite of all time; I love it! However, I noticed some of the water source blocks found there may have another cave or empty block space beneath them, but they didn't actually flow downwards into that space. They just floated there. The second issue I noticed was I found an Azalea tree completely submerged in an aquifer, which of course led to a lush cave deeper below. Anyways, I know the azalea trees are meant for locating new lush caves below them, but they should definitely grow inside of the lush caves themselves (provided enough room is available). All lush caves should also lead to an open pond-like area where a few axolotl spawns are guaranteed. So, if I was looking for a few axolotls to bring along with me, I would look for this place. It would be really cool to see these ponds also contain corals and sea pickles to make them glow and look special when you find them. Lastly, clay should appear darker or be removed after descending past Y-0. Upon reaching deepslate, the world and its caves should become darker to reflect the depth of the world, with the deep dark biome being the darkest area the overworld has to offer. Clay brings too much vibrancy in the lush caves past that point.
FYI, if the feedback forum is updated to include the topic of Lush Caves, I will delete this post and paste it there. In addition, I would to thank Mojang for the tremendous work and effort they've put into this update!!
