Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

a tool that replaces a hole with whatever was there before

lots of times in creative you acidentaly break something and then you have to go looking through your inventory to find it so what if there was a tool that you could tap on a broken block and it replaces it with the original block that was there.

    One thing that might help you out: press the scroll button on your mouse, while looking at a block, and that block will instantly appear in your hand.  It even works in Survival Mode, if you already have some of that block.  It doesn't work in Pocket Edition, unfortunately.
