High altitude lakes

One of the few things I find lacking about the new mountains is a lack of water. I suggest we remedy this with high altitude lakes. These lakes would appear in small depressions in the mountains, and could even link up with cliffs. They would be an excellent place to rest and replenish your food supplies before continuing the climb. These lakes would include the regular fish spawning mechanics, and could link up to the icy slopes of mountains above, and waterfalls below. They could even link up to river biomes!
