- Add a new rail: the Puffer Rail
A Puffer Rail can be the start point or the end point of a Rail Track or both (so a Puffer Rail can be placed in the middle of a rail network and traversed by minecarts as usual). When a Puffer Rail is placed next to any other rail or vice versa, the game will traverse all connected rail blocks until another Puffer Rail is reached or there are no more connected rail blocks. When another Puffer Rail is reached, the game creates a Rail Track, spanning from one Puffer Rail to another.
- Add a new game mechanic: Rail Tracks
Two Puffer Rails that are connected via Rail Blocks form a Rail Track. Breaking the connection between the two Puffer Rails, for example by breaking a Rail Block, removes the Rail Track. For each chunk the Rail Track passes through, the game calculates a time value based on the nature of the Rail Blocks that are part of the Rail Track in the given chunk. This time value represents how fast a Furnace Minecart would traverse said chunk.
- Add a new game mechanic: Furnace Minecart can traverse unloaded chunks
When a Furnace Minecart drives on a Rail Block that is part of a Rail Track into an unloaded chunk, the game takes the time value calculated for the Rail Track in that chunk, counts down, and when the time is elapsed, places the Furnace Minecart on the border of the next chunk and starts the process over until either the Minecart has reached the end of the Rail Track or the Minecart passes into a loaded chunk.
