Slimes spawning in Lush Caves

The way slimes spawned in caves were odd, slimes spawning in lush caves would give lush caves a specific mob and help people know where to get slimeballs

    Yes, this would allow players in survival worlds to accurately make slime farms without having to use coordinates or debug mode. Very cheaty ways that currently take you out of the experience

    YES! Slimes can basically become the snottites of Minecraft! They'd basically provide the basis for these overly lush underground ecosystems.

    Combine it with gas vents & sulfuric acid to create a beautiful yet dangerously caustic new biome!

    Slimes should spawn here... if hostile mobs should spawn in the lush caves at all.

    When I see the lush caves, I see peacefull caves, so maybe the slimes can spawn, but in the smallest version, al that the lush caves remain peacefull

    This is a great idea! But the one thing about slimes spawning in lush caves mean that slimes are going to be spawning near the surface because lush caves we be spawning near the surface most of the time. So the one way to fix this situation of them spawning near the surface is to change where they spawn, so instead of them spawning in lush caves they should spawn in dripstone caves..

    As of now, they only spawn in slime chunks. It is not necessarily in the lush caves, but they can be.

    Slimes use moss blocks for their trial spawner, so I think that idea fits well.

    This idea just makes too much sense. Unspecified Slime chunks just feel very outdated, something needs to change
