Diamond have recently had their air exposure taken away to make them harder to find.
I dislike this change so I propose we take diamonds back to the way they were.
My main reasons for this are...
- Diamonds still generate like normal in underwater/flooded caves but water caves are much safer. You would rather go in an area that has barely any mobs compared to a place full of mobs to get your diamonds
- Strip mining does not allow you to explore the new cave biomes and takes much longer given that deepslate takes longer to mine.
-The big caves (with normal air exposure for diamonds) solved one of Minecraft's biggest flaws, that being nobody wants to have to strip mine for hours with iron pickaxes breaking all of the time just to progress in the game and by limiting air exposure for diamond the player is actively encouraged to watch iron pickaxes die as they spend hours looking for their hope of a fun game in a shiny blue rock in cave above lava.
The last part was and a little bit much but nobody want to do a boring task with limited tools just to progress in a block game.
