So, the Caves and cliffs update has added something I never knew I needed, awesome underwater cave systems stemming from oceans and rivers, awesome, and I want it to be awesomer.
That is a word shhhhh
Picture this, you're on your boat following a map you bought from a cartographer to an ocean monument, out on the wide ocean everything feels so peaceful and serene and... Is that smoke? huge clouds of smoke are billowing out of the water from wat looks like a crack with...Wait is this just an improvement for magma ravines in oceans?
Yes it is, Every time I see an ocean ravine with a few magma blocks at the bottom of it I don't really think much of it, which is bad. This feature could be so awe-inspiring and cool! The thermal vent would be a rare crack in the ocean floor of a deep ocean that leads down into a large sunken cavern full of magma blocks and 'thermal tubes', multi block unbreakable structures just above bedrock that spew smoke from the magma of the earths core battling against the seas. This feature not only sounds impressive and educational at that, but it could bring a whole host of unique interactions, like heat loving mobs in the overworld and an overheating mechanic like the freezing one of snowier snow!
I think, if done correctly, this could be a really fun and interesting addition to the game that further encourages living somewhere due to its unique blocks or environment that cant be moved (like geodes)
Thank you for reading (:
